shirt into an off the shoulder top

turn a shirt into an off the shoulder top
Last year through to this year, we have seen the off the shoulder trend in every conceivable way, shape, and form. I mentioned in one of my earlier posts; I have a lot of these off the shoulder tops and have been obsessed with the trend, you can see them HERE, HERE and HERE.

Recently, I was going through my closet and I was staring at this lovely work shirt that I got for Christmas :D, and while I was thinking of  what  I was going to wear to go out with friends; I remembered how “Aimee song” and a few stylish women on the streets of Paris and New York turned their shirts into  an off the shoulder tops. I got really excited thinking about that, and decided to turn my “work shirt” into an off the shoulder top. Pretty exciting!! Now my regular work shirt is a stylish shirt, which I can wear out with friends for drinks, a date, or an event.

TBH this is the easiest DIY version of the off-the-shoulder ever, you literally just unbutton the top half of your shirt, pull it over your shoulder and tie to your waist or tuck it in like I did in a jean or skirt or pants. I didn’t even need a big shirt to do this; this shirt is my perfect size.
I am so excited about this because I do not have work shirts anymore but Stylish shirts.
I’m a huge fan of this DIY, I mean, who isn’t? They’re cute, simple and easy to make. The best part is you can style them as much as you’d like by adding accessories, belt or whatever you want.

If you do not go out a lot, and therefore you do not have varieties of blouses or tops but definitely have shirts for work.  Go ahead and try this DIY out, and let me know how it goes.

Also, comment and leave your feedbacks!
Thank you

waffle stop

lmao!!!!!! I never smile like this

restaurants in abuja

If you don't know, I would like to tell you now that I love food or maybe its just waffles, Ice cream and milkshakes. I feel like If you want to bribe me that's all you need to give me.
My friends and I decided we needed a day out to eat, chill and have fun and somehow we found the waffle stop on Instagram.
we all had our different schedules so we had to set a date and kept drooling waiting for the day we were going to enjoy our lives at the restaurant and I remember I kept going on their page to droll and get really hungry lol.
The day finally arrived and we made sure we had loads of fun Gisting, taking pictures and of course enjoying the meal. I feel like going out to eat is the only fun thing to do in Abuja. If I am wrong please let me know where I can go because I need it.
The waffle stop was nice and it's located at dunes so it has a quiet, neat and perfect location. we had a little issue with a waiter but It was sorted and we went back to our meal.
By the way my friends and I wearing yellow was not planned at all :D

This is not a sponsored post, I really like food and I plan to do a lot of food reviews in the future so If you are in Abuja and need to chill keep visiting my blog because I have a lot of post in my draft.

By the way who has realised sewing is the way of life in this Nigerian economy right now, A tailor sewed our outfits and it was at an affordable price. we wanted to look really nice but free to eat a lot and not look bloated, a cute dress and a free blouse with Jeans is Just the right outfit for this date.

Thank you for visiting

Btw say Hi to Winifred and Juliet.

Hey Guys
I hope everyone is having an amazing week.
Last week I was contacted by The blogger point asking if I would like to go for a private food tasting event organised by Winny's meals. It was an opportunity to meet and network with bloggers as well as eat good and free Chinese food so I agreed and was super excited.
For the first time in a long time I decided to get there early but we ended up starting a lil bit late because "African time" lol.

I loved the location, the Decor made me feel like I was In China, I loved the photo wall, the food was very nice and affordable and the waiters were nice and polite plus the Chef came out and told us about the dishes he made so it was really fun.
I went straight to the main course and had Chinese fried rice, shrimp sauce and beef sauce. The Chapman was really nice as well and I really enjoyed the meal.
Apart from the amazing food, I had a very nice time discussing with my fellow bloggers about blogging and life and I am really Thankful to The bloggers point and Winny's meals for bringing us together and making my Sunday a perfect one.

Winny's meals Abuja branch is located at No 8 Kwame Nkrumah street Asokoro and the lagos branch is located at 45 lagos Badagry Expressway for all my Lagos lovers.

When I think of Chinese Restaurants in Abuja, I am always thinking "Expensive" and it's really exciting that I found a perfect place with affordable price that I can go anytime my cravings start. I am really Glad I went for this and I hope to go back with my friends very soon.
