Hey Everyone!
I am so sorry I have not posted in a while, I had issues with my phone and Just got it fixed so finally I could edit my pictures and I just had to quickly publish this post.
I have been obsessed with the fringe skirt trend for a while as I love the movement it creates as you walk and the fact that you can do a little spin when you are wearing it. so when I saw a Nigerian designer that had the skirt, I quickly made sure I got one.
I decided to pair the skirt with a white blouse I got from she inside a few years ago because I wanted to look a bit corporate yet Nice.
What do you think about this look?
would you rock this skirt?
Thank you for visiting.

The perfect skirt to wear with an off the shoulder top

off shoulder top and tulle skirt

the perfect skirt ti wear with an off the shoulder top

Hello Hello!
How is everyone doing?
It is a beautiful day and I feel like a blogpost would make it even better.
I realized that I have like a hundred off the shoulder tops, but it's not my fault they look cute lol!
I am wearing a black off the shoulder top from the definition clothing and a Tulle skirt I got while thrifting.
I always wear an off the shoulder top with jeans, pants, skirt, but when I got this tulle skirt I thought of pairing it with this top because I wanted to look really girly and after seeing the outcome I kinda realized I want a really big and fluffy tulle skirt so I can twirl in it.
I know this look is super girly, but it's great to have this in your closet if you want to feel like a Disney princess someday.
I remember how obsessed I was with the tulle trend and how I always dreamt of getting one so when I saw this even if it wasn't what I really wanted I had to get it because it still looks cute and I love the skirt.
I love the top as well because it has detachable hands and it is super comfortable. If you want one look up thedefinitionclothing on Instagram and order one.

Do you like this look?
How would you rock this?

Have a nice day Guys

How to get over the feeling of discouragement, sadness, failure and Guilt

how to get over disappointment and sadness

how to get over disappointment and sadness

Hey Guys
So few days ago, I woke up feeling Bleh!
I just didn't feel good about myself and I kept thinking and asking myself why I haven't achieved all the things I hoped to achieve at this time of my life because I felt last year was just horrible and then I suddenly remembered all the amazing things God helped me achieve in 2016 and I had to quickly snap out of it and decided to go on youtube to watch a sermon because that is what i do every time I don't feel happy.
So I saw a sermon by Joel Osteen and as one of my favourite preachers ever I decided to watch the video and take notes so I can share on the blog.
  • You won't live a victorious life if you are always reliving what didn't work out, who hurt you, what mistakes you have made.
  • Plant the right seed in your life: words are like seeds, if you speak something out, you give life to what you are saying if you continue to say it then it becomes a reality. if you are prophesying victory into your future your life will move in the direction of your word. so basically you are planting seeds and when you talk negative and lack do not expect abundance.
  • Be in peace and know that God is directing your steps even when you are in difficulty.
  • Do not accept mediocrity: Do not let people put you in a box and because their thinking is limited they try to put the limitations on you but put your foot down and refuse to listen.
  • Input positive things into our life don't say I am slow, I am unlucky, I am not attractive, you invite negative things so Instead say I am blessed, I am blessed, I am strong, I am healthy.
  • Do not give up on what God promised you, do not let your dreams die, keep trying.
  • let go of the past and stop blaming people, others and ourselves. Stop relieving the past whether it happened 20yrs or 20 minutes ago. You cannot live a victorious life if you keep remembering how people hurt you.
  • Do not waste your pain: Every pain you go through will eventually pass, you will get through it and you will change but it all depends on you. You can come out bitter or better, Everyone experiences pain don't go through it but grow through it.
  • let your enemies motivate you: sometimes God will put critiques, haters in our lives don't get upset but see them as motivation to try harder.
So these are the few points I would like everyone to reflect on.

Oh and By the way I love that Abuja bloggers are coming together and getting to know ourselves. This was me on Saturday at a picnic we had.
Have a nice day guys

kimono and short set

kimono and short set

Hey Guys
I started blogging because I wanted to show everyone how to shop on a budget and how to look good without breaking the bank.
Last year a friend of mine Minika (Thanks Girl) gifted me with this patterned material and I just kept it for a while thinking of what to sew with it. I love the prints and I knew I could do great things with the material lol!

After thinking for a while, searching Instagram, twitter and looking for Inspiration on what I could sew that would look perfect with the material, I decided to play safe and make a kimono and short set. I was kinda scared and was hoping it comes out perfect and it did and I totally, absolutely love it.
I love the pattern, the way it looks and Just everything about this co-ord.
I always dress really corporatey in my outfit post a lot and so I decided to switch things up a bit and dress differently. So I switched up my heels for sneakers and I am totally loving it.

What do you guys think? Can you wear this?
Thanks for visiting

Kanga Fashion Festival

Hey Everyone
I know this is late but I attended the Kanga Fashion Festival at the flamingo rooftop in Gwarimpa here in Abuja.
I was super excited because it was my first blog event I attended and I was really glad I went because I got to meet a lot of amazing people and bloggers based in Abuja.
It was kinda scary at first but I talked myself into it and I had a very nice time.

I met Sarah of princessaudu, Vanessa of stylebyohaha, Janet of lifestylebyjanet., Mabel of mabelozumba, Bella of iambrownie
I hope we get a lot more of these events in Abuja because it is actually nice to connect with other bloggers and creatives.

Some fashion designers show cased their designs like WADZZ RTW, FADEOSIMI, SALAMY CO and I was totally loving everything about the outfits.
I love how the Nigerian fashion scene is evolving in Nigeria and I am super excited and looking forward to seeing a lot more.
I thank the Kanga magazine team for organising this amazing event and we really hope we get a lot more of these in Abuja.
